I’m moving house again, third time in 3 years but this time I have signed a 5 year lease so I won’t be faced looking for movers for a while. Moving is a hassle, no doubt about it and finding decent movers is a worse hassle, believe me.

I’m still recovering from the last move I made, only 8 months ago. I saw one of the men, he looked more like a boy, eyeing the small radio alarm that sits next to my bed and is critical in getting me to work on time. The movers came, packed and carried all my stuff into their van and then carried it upstairs to my new apartment. The deal was that I would unpack and leave the boxes outside and they would pick them up. They never came back to pick them up and I was left minus my beloved radio alarm. All my efforts to trace these guys came to nothing. These movers no longer existed.

So I’m still paying off on a new radio alarm that I bought and now I’m looking for a reliable firm of movers again. Am I in a recurring nightmare or what!
