Since the downturn in the subprime mortgage market there has been an increase in business for movers of all kinds. This has been a stroke of good luck for those movers that may have been struggling in recent years as housing starts dropped. But the results have not been all that good for the public at large as more and more families find that they must pull up stakes and employ the services of movers to move them to other locations often in other locales.

This is the job of movers of course and there are few movers who feel bad about this downturn in the economy since it seems to be doing well by them as they find that they are having to deal as movers with an ever increasing amount of business. But then of course this is what they originally went into business as movers to do and so they just do what they have to do and don't think about the problems of those whom they are dealing with.

Now might be a good time to consider taking a good look at the business of movers as an investment.
